This is my first official preview! So, what is a preview? Well, before I contact a restaurant for a formal review of an item on their menu, I like to scope out the joint; that is, to play the role of a secret shopper. This way, I can experience what the restaurant has to offer in an untainted way. So what you hear from me will always be objective! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, I am going to talk about The Mint Gastropub in Bethlehem, PA – about an hour or so north of Philly proper. I had what is called “The 25 Dollar Burger”, and let me tell you! OMG! Yesss!! This is a wagyu beef burger with pork belly, stilton cheese, cipollini onions, truffled greens, and curried catsup on a brioche bun. It was juicy. It was tasty. It was on point! My friend Ike, who put me on to this place, took some impromptu video of me enjoying this #pictureworthy delight. This burger is on my top 10, which includes a double cheeseburger with pastrami from Hoddad’s in San Diego! I hope to return with a full review of The Mint. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
