Just when you thought that I had forgotten about\u00a0#foodiefriday<\/a>\u00a0I showed up with dessert! But there is a special story behind this culinary delight.

I got a request for a video chat from three young brothers, ages 15, 13, and 11, who wanted to suprise their parents with a dessert when they got home. They’d already started making an unscripted “cookie” recipe with melted Ghirardelli chocolate when they contacted me.\u00a0But it was not quite cookie dough, although all\u00a0the ingredients were correct. Regardless, they received the reward for their heartfelt effort to please their parents and a lesson on how to flour a cake pan from CrunchTime with D.
